The Manson Ray Anchor

The Manson Ray Anchor is a very fast setting anchor and is most suited for quick deployment and 'no fuss' anchoring.

Especially useful in crowded anchorages and when limited space is a factor, the Ray will set fast. The Ray performs best in sand or muddy seabeds.

The Ray Anchor tends to be used more frequently on Super - Sailing - Yachts as a more traditional yacht type of anchor and it is then deployed via cassettes in the bow as shown in the picture opposite.

It is Lloyd's Register Type Approved as an HHP (High Holding Power) anchor and available approved in sizes 5kg - 1000kg
